Excellent Product - Cologne Spray & Shaving Products November 29, 2006

I discovered the Caswell-Massey line by accident; having bought brushless Burma shave from another internet provider. When I ran out I searched "Amazon" first and discovered this product.

At any rate, I believe that the scent is accurate. In addition, the preshave oil followed by their sandlewood shaving cream gives one as close a shave as I have ever experienced. Used to suffer from 5:00 "shadow", being in sales this is unsightly; after using the C.M. product that is a thing of the past.

This excellent product is expensive. However, a hot, wet lather shave for this reviewer makes this mundane chore pleasurable. The badger hair shaving brush is a nice addition or it makes a great gift.

A British concern, Truefitt and Hill also are of interest to shaving and personal care customers.

I am also a fanatic of sandalwood products and have searched the world (literally) for same. I have found this brand to be slightly different than one might expect from sandalwood, but still very pleasing. A little pricey, but not more than to be expected for sandalwood. I've also tried their after shave, soap, and shampoo. I've been very satisfied with all of these sandalwood products and will continue to purchase them until I find something better.

That's the drawback of buying a new thing on the internet because you can not feel or smell it. I bought the whole set as I am a sandalwood fanatic. i couldn't have been more disappointed, this thing whatever it is does not smell like sandalwood. a complete waste of money.
